Good evening Mustangs!

I hope everyone is doing well! We are less than a week away from the official start of the 2025 season!! Our boys have worked extremely hard this summer and are chomping at the bit to get things kicked off! I know the communication is going to start flying at you from all angles but I wanted to get a little communication out from me as well.

1. All players must have they’re athletic clearance taken care of by Monday the 4th. This includes a sports physical. Athletic registration process and forms can be found on the Mullen website. For those players who do not complete everything by the 4th you will not be able to practice until the registration is complete so PLEASE make sure it gets done.

2. Our annual Kick Off dinner is August 4th at the Platte River Bar and Grill. All players are free and family tickets can be purchased using the QR code here on the Team App. This event is an absolute blast and a great way for all of us to come together and celebrate our Mullen football family.

3. If you have not paid your team fee’s please do so ASAP. I hate to harp on the money however those fees help us pay for all the team gear, meals, etc… Thanks in advance for getting it taken care of.

4. Our team fundraiser will be Tuesday night at 6pm. We have had great results with this fundraiser the past two seasons and expect the same this year. It takes the boys 1 hour total! No selling cards, butter braids, popcorn, Just a call and text to 25 people asking for their support with the upcoming season. I’m attaching the fundraiser sheet to this post. Please make sure your player fills it out with 25 names and numbers and have it ready to go next Tuesday.

5. The Locker room is almost complete!! The boys are going to absolutely love it! Just a few finishing touches and we’ll be cutting the ribbon just in time for the season. If you’d like to sponsor a locker again the cost is 750.00 dollars. A plaque recognizing your commitment to Mullen athletics will be fastened to the locker as a way to show our gratitude for your contribution. Remember this is a tax deductible donation so if you know of anyone looking for those write offs send them our way. :) You can pay by check or credit card (the QR code is on the app) Please make sure to write locker room on the check or in the note section on the QR code. All donations run through our development department so they will process your tax receipt and get that to you.
