Good Morning Mustangs!
Where do I even begin? I didn’t sleep much as you could imagine replaying last nights game in my head over and over. I didn’t find myself looking at what we could have done better or evaluating position play, coaches calls, or even calls made by officials on the field! Instead I found myself cherishing every moment I spent with this outstanding group of young men! From top to bottom, from the youngest to the oldest players in this program I’m truly grateful for all the hard work , dedication, and commitment you’ve shown over the course of this season. To the Class of 24’ I’m so proud and honored to be your head coach! We started this journey together 4 years ago and man what a ride it has been. We’ve cheered together, cried together, and most definitely laughed together. I think the takeaway for all of us over the last 4 seasons is we did it TOGETHER and no one can ever take that away from us. You’ve set the tone and paved the way for a younger group of players and the future of this program! I’m forever grateful to each and everyone of you for making this program better than it was when we arrived. God has a plan for all of you and I want you to always remember that! When times are tough and you’re feeling overwhelmed, sad, confused, or angry always remember that God is with you!
To my Brothers on the coaching staff THANK YOU for all you do. Your leadership and commitment to our guys and to each other is unwavering and it means the world to me. I’ve been at this for 29 years and can truly say this group of men has truly blessed me and made this year amazing in so many ways! To all of the coaches families THANK YOU so much for sharing your Husbands, Fathers, and Grandfathers with us! I know they miss out on a ton of your families time during the season and I’m grateful for all your patience and grace! To our parents and families I want to say THANK YOU! Thank you for allowing us to work with your outstanding young men and your commitment to them and our football community! As this season has come to an end always keep in mind our next chapter begins!!
